About the role

We are seeking an experienced QC Formulator to join our Quality Assurance team. In this dynamic dual role, you will perform quality control testing on raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods while playing a key hands-on role in product reformulation and current product development. Operating under ISO 22716 (GMP) standards, you will collaborate closely with our Operations Manager and QC Specialist to bring natural formulations to market.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct QC testing on incoming raw materials, packaging, bulk product, and finished goods.

- Record quality data and document non-conformances.

- Prepare lab samples, formulate current products, and conduct stability testing.

- Calculate cost of goods (COGs) for recent products.

- Validate and calibrate lab equipment.

- Coordinate microbiological testing and preservative efficacy testing with external labs.

- Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical data for existing and prospective starting materials.

About you

- 2 years' experience in a similar manufacturing facility

- Tertiary qualification in science

- Demonstrated experience in product formulation

- Sound knowledge and understanding of ISO 22716 or similar GMP standards

- Proven attention to detail

- Excellent computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office suite)

- Great organisation and time management skills

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
