Clean Oil Services Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team in Caboolture, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our state-of-the-art laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What you'll be doing
Conducting a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses to support our lubrication industry clients
Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
Documenting all test results and procedures in accordance with company policies and industry regulations
Providing technical support and guidance to junior laboratory staff
Collaborating with the broader team to identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions
Adhering to strict health, safety and environmental protocols to protect our people and the setting
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience as a Laboratory Technician in the oil and Lubrication industry
Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline, such as chemistry or engineering
Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of laboratory testing procedures and techniques with instruments such as ICP, Titration,
microscopic and other proceedures
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and optimise processes
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team-oriented team
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and provide technical guidance
