About the Role

As a Kitchen Steward at HYDE Perth, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen and food & beverage operations running smoothly. Working as part of a energetic team across our restaurant and function teams, you’ll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation behind the scenes.

You’ll be responsible for:
Keeping kitchen equipment, crockery, utensils and work areas clean and hygienic to a high standard
Operating commercial dishwashing equipment and using cleaning products safely and correctly
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchens and food outlets
Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with health and safety requirements




Assisting with the movement and organisation of deliveries, stock and waste throughout the loading bay
Relocating waste and recycling bins as required and keeping back-of-house areas clean, secure and organised
Working closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure a seamless operation, particularly during busy service periods
