PCF Workspace Furniture is looking for a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant to join our cabinetmaking and custom furniture team in Brendale.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to work as part of an experienced manufacturing team.

About the role

Working alongside our cabinetmakers, you’ll assist with the manufacture and assembly of commercial furniture. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Assisting cabinetmakers with production and assembly
Preparing materials and components for manufacture
Using hand and power tools
Sanding, edging, drilling and general furniture preparation
Assembling furniture and components
Moving and handling materials
Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
Assisting with general factory duties as required

About you

We’re looking for someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
Is comfortable using hand and power tools
Has good attention to detail
Can follow instructions and work efficiently




Is physically capable of manual handling
Works well as part of a team
Takes pride in the quality of their work

Previous experience in cabinetmaking, joinery, furniture manufacturing, construction or a similar trade environment would be highly regarded, but a trade qualification is not required.
