Our client is seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced cook to join our quick-paced kitchen team. Working with top-quality ingredients and time-honored recipes, you will play a central role in preparing our signature dishes, maintaining exceptional flavor consistency, and elevating our energetic Indian menu.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Assist in planning daily food preparation requirements and production schedules.
Ensure all ingredients and food items are adequately stocked and prepared before service periods.
Prepare and present hot and cold meals, including appetisers, soups, salads, main courses, desserts, and specialty dishes.
Monitor food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control to maintain consistency.
Ensure all food is prepared and stored in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, storage areas, cool rooms, and equipment.
Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality, freshness, and accuracy of supplied goods.




Minimise food wastage through effective stock rotation and inventory management practices.
Assist with stock control and notify management of ordering requirements.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff where required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food handling procedures, and kitchen sanitation standards.
Perform any other duties related to food preparation and kitchen operations as directed by the Head Chef or Management.

Position Requirements:
·Certificate IV level qualification or equivalent in the relevant field.
1 years of recent experience in a cook role.
Good planning and organisation skills
Positive arithmetic skills
Ability to work in a team co-operatively
Keen sense of taste and smell
Ability to remain calm in hectic circumstances
