About the Role

Amma's Care Support Services is seeking reliable, confident, and experienced Female Disability Support Workers for immediate starts across the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay regions (including Aspley, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Deception Bay, Morayfield, and Caboolture). We have 4–5 positions available across a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.Key Responsibilities
Personal Care & Daily Living: Assist participants with personal care, daily routines, household tasks, and meal preparation.
Mental Health & Behaviour Support: Provide psychosocial support, follow behaviour support plans, and utilize calm de-escalation strategies during emotional distress.
Community Access: Accompany participants to appointments, shopping, and community activities.
Documentation & Safety: Complete accurate shift notes and incident reports while adhering to NDIS guidelines, privacy,



and infection control standards.

Requirements
Experience: Proven background in disability support, mental health, and de-escalation/complex behaviour management.
Licence & Transport: Valid Australian Driver Licence, reliable vehicle, current car registration, and comprehensive insurance.
Communication: Explicit written and spoken English for daily shift notes and reporting.
Qualifications: Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Mental Health is highly regarded.
