Barista / All-Rounder (25–35 Hours Per Week)

Located at the Wharf, Local Social is a busy 7-day espresso bar open from 6:00am–3:00pm, serving specialty coffee, fresh juices, smoothies and quality grab-and-go food.

We're looking for a friendly, reliable Barista / All-Rounder to join our small but passionate team for 25–35 hours per week. If you thrive in a rapid-paced setting, take pride in making exceptional coffee, and enjoy providing genuine customer service, we'd love to hear from you. Position available immediately but will wait for the right person.

What we're looking for
A genuine passion for coffee and delivering great customer service
Previous barista experience, including dialing in coffee, milk texturing and latte art
Previous food handling experience or willingness to learn basic prep jobs
A solid work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality




The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Friendly communication skills and a welcoming personality
Confidence moving between tasks including coffee making, customer service, food preparation, cleaning and general café duties
