Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a three-month contract, starting as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a agile acute care setting where your clinical skills and emergency expertise will make a real difference. The position is remunerated at AUD53.93 to AUD78.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work in a busy emergency department delivering high-acuity patient care

Contribute your triage, resuscitation, and Advanced Life Support expertise to a supportive clinical team

Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA




Demonstrated emergency department experience with proven competence in triage assessment
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Solid resuscitation skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
Solid clinical communication and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing career development in emergency nursing
Additional certifications such as trauma nursing (TNCC) or emergency care qualifications are advantageous
