Our client is a leading financial services organisation located in Melbourne's inner-city suburbs and is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Administrator to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
The Role:
Administer and maintain finance systems, ensuring accurate and efficient day-to-day operation.
Provide system support and troubleshooting to finance users.
Manage user access, security, configurations and system permissions.
Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, testing and implementation of recent functionality.
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and system efficiencies.
Support data integrity, reconciliations and reporting across finance systems.
Work closely with Finance, IT and key stakeholders to resolve system issues and deliver improvements.
Prepare system documentation, procedures and user guides where required.
Assist with month-end and other finance-related system requirements.
Support integration between finance systems and other business applications.
About You:
Previous experience in a Finance Systems Administrator, Finance Systems Analyst or similar role.
Robust understanding of finance processes and accounting systems.
Experience administering or supporting ERP/finance systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Experience within financial services or a regulated setting will be highly regarded.
