We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team and ensure the optimal performance of our fleet of vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and servicing on different range of plant equipment to ensure they are running efficiently and safely
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, including but not limited to engine components, fuel systems, and exhaust systems
Conduct preventative maintenance on diesel engines to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of the vehicles
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on diesel engines
Overhaul diesel engines as needed to restore them to optimal condition
Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and find solutions
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when working on diesel engines
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in diesel engine technology and repair techniques
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
Certification in diesel engine repair or a related field is preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
