We are a small, family-owned early learning centre looking for a motivated and reliable full-time trainee to join our friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while completing your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
About the Role
As a trainee, you'll work alongside our experienced educators and become part of our close-knit team. You'll gain practical experience caring for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, while developing the knowledge and skills needed for a rewarding career in early childhood.
You'll be supported as you learn how to:
Build warm and meaningful relationships with children and families.
Support children's development and learning through play and everyday experiences.
Assist with routines such as meals, sleep, nappy changes and hygiene.
Help create fun, engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
Contribute to a protected, positive and welcoming setting.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
Develop your confidence,
knowledge and skills as an early childhood educator.
The Person We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
18 years or older.
Must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency
Genuine and passionate about working with young children.
Caring, friendly and enthusiastic.
Reliable, punctual and responsible.
Keen to learn and develop new skills.
A confident communicator and team player.
Committed to completing their Certificate III traineeship.
Ready to become part of a small and supportive team.
No previous childcare experience is required — we're looking for the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
