Millies Fish & Chips is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team.
We’re not your average fish and chip shop. Millies is a busy, modern seafood venue focused on quality food, consistency, speed and excellent customer experiences.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for helping a fast-paced kitchen and ensuring every meal leaving the pass meets our high standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking seafood, burgers and our full menu
Managing a busy service and working efficiently under pressure
Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
Managing prep and stock requirements
Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and running smoothly
Taking pride in consistency and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who:
Has previous experience as a Chef or experienced Cook
Works well in a fast-paced environment
Can stay calm and organised during busy periods
Has robust leadership skills and can work well within a team
Takes pride in cleanliness, presentation and quality
Has excellent communication skills
Is reliable and takes ownership of their work
Wants to be part of a growing business
Experience with seafood, fryers, grills or high-volume takeaway kitchens would be highly regarded.
