An experienced Account Assistant within a wholesale manufacturing environment, combining solid administrative skills. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day Account Receivable and negotiating and administering vendor and supplier contracts.
Acts as a key point of contact between management, employees, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure effective operations.
Key responsibilities
Manage daily factory office operations and front desk staff.
Oversee supply orders, inventory, and office equipment maintenance.
Coordinate internal communication between factory floor and corporate teams.
Accounts Receivable: Raise customer invoices, and track incoming or outgoing payments.
Reconciliations: Match bank statements and supplier records against general ledgers to find and fix errors.
Credit Control: Follow up with debtors and help chase late customer payments.
Data Entry: Input financial transactions into ordering app accurately.
General Support: Answer queries from suppliers and clients, file digital documents, and assist with month-end reporting.
Oversee general office workflows and daily activities.
Manage filing systems, databases, and records.
Schedule meetings,
appointments, and travel arrangements.
Order office supplies and equipment while tracking inventory.
Ensure adherence to local occupational health and safety regulations.
Coordinate employee benefits administration and insurance claims.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Software Literacy: Proficiency in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) and accounting software like Xero, Microsoft Office. Experience with Apple Mac software is a must
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy for data entry and checking figures.
Communication: Robust verbal and written skills to deal with vendors and staff.
Education: Often an entry-level role requiring a high school diploma or a certificate/degree in accounting, finance, or business
Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
