Full Job Description

SBD Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented team member to support our electrical wholesale operations and online Shopify store. This role focuses strongly on Accounts Receivable, QuickBooks processing, invoice control, and payment reconciliation, while also assisting with inventory dispatch, store organisation, and customer service.

We are looking for someone who is confident with QuickBooks, experienced in Shopify, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable & Invoice Control
Create, issue, and manage customer invoices for electrical materials
Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up overdue payments
Perform daily payment reconciliation in QuickBooks
Apply credits, adjustments, and account corrections accurately
Maintain customer credit limits and follow internal credit policies
Resolve invoice discrepancies with electricians, builders, and trade customers
Match purchase orders, delivery dockets, and invoices
Prepare weekly AR and ageing reports

Shopify & Online Store Operations
Manage Shopify product listings, pricing,



and stock levels
Process online orders and coordinate dispatch
Update inventory after sales, returns, and stock receipts
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online chat

Inventory & Store Support
Receive stock, label items, and organise shelves/storage
Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records
Prepare items for dispatch and ensure correct product selection
Maintain a clean and organised store workplace

Requirements
QuickBooks: 1 year (Required)
Experience in accounts receivable, invoice control, and reconciliation
Shopify experience (product uploads, order processing, stock updates)
Knowledge of electrical industry products (preferred but not essential)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Transparent communication skills with trade customers and suppliers
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Reliable, proactive, and detail‑focused
