AUS Employment is currently seeking experienced Field Technicians to join our team for an exciting 6-month mining/exploration project, with the potential for extensions for the right candidates.

$51.30 per hour

About the Role

As a Field Technician, you will be working in a remote mining/exploration setting, supporting field operations and assisting with day-to-day site activities.

Your duties may include:
Assisting with exploration and drilling activities
Operating and maintaining field equipment
Collecting and recording samples and field data
Supporting drilling crews and site personnel
Conducting routine inspections and equipment checks
General field maintenance and housekeeping
Assisting with 4WD and site-based activities
Following all site safety, environmental and operational procedures
Working closely with supervisors and other members of the site team




Maintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping across the work area

What We're Looking For:
Minimum 1 years' experience in Exploration, Drilling, Field Technician or similar roles
4WD experience and First Aid Certificate - mandatory
HR Licence - preferred
Forklift Licence - preferred
Current and valid Driver's Licence
National Police Clearance
Ability to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical and LabDAS
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work effectively in a remote site environment
Reliable, hardworking and willing to contribute as part of a team
