This role will see you join a small team and be responsible for the branch's operational functions and compliance with company values, processes, and procedures.
Duties include branch administration, in-store and counter sales, stock control and dispatch, working with customers to support their business requirements, supporting field staff and driving business improvement.
Above all, you will help maintain a safe working environment through compliance with company values and procedures.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
Experience in counter sales, retail or branch administration, ideally in an agricultural or rural supplies setting
Solid organisational skills, including stock control, dispatch and inventory accuracy
Background in agriculture, especially animal health (advantage)
Confident face-to-face and phone sales skills,
with a customer-first approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High-level computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
A commitment to company values, procedures, and processes
A current driver's licence
A current High Risk Work (Forklift) Licence (advantage)
A medium rigid truck licence (advantage)
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the role will work closely with the existing branch team, the Muirs team nationally and external suppliers.
