Role:
Based in Hastings or Dandenong South, our client seeks an enthusiastic and experienced MIG Welder to work in the manufacturing division. This is a role where there is a focus on developing the individual, so they have the skillsets and experience to be utilised in multiple operational functions that best suits the business with scope for advancement.
Hours: (negotiable)
08:00am-4pm (Mon-Thu)
08:00am-3:30pm (Friday)
Required skills & attributes:
Experienced MIG Welder for immediate start
Certificate of Welding
Structural steel experience is favourable
MIG welding in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to develop jigging
Programming and operation of robotic welders is preferable
Reading engineering drawings
Excellent attention to quality and detail
Valuable verbal communication
Self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision
A positive attitude and a team player
Enjoys high variability in tasks
Versatile in adjusting workload to suit customer demands
Reliable transport and punctual
