Three Pound Group is looking for two Sous Chefs to join our established Perth CBD venues, The Stables Bar and Little Creatures – Elizabeth Quay.

ABOUT THE VENUES

The Stables Bar is a well-known Perth CBD venue with a robust focus on quality food, drinks and hospitality. Set across a unique multi-level heritage space, the venue offers a busy and varied kitchen setting with a mix of dining, functions and large-scale service.

Little Creatures – Elizabeth Quay brings the Little Creatures brewery experience into the heart of Perth. Located on the waterfront at Elizabeth Quay, the venue combines craft beer, food and a vibrant atmosphere, with a busy kitchen catering to both locals and visitors.

Both venues offer the opportunity to work within an established hospitality group, develop your skills and be part of a busy, supportive kitchen team.

THE ROLE

This position requires solid cooking skills, the ability to lead a busy service and a hands-on approach to kitchen operations. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, develop the team and maintain high standards across food quality, cleanliness and kitchen operations.





Key responsibilities include:
Leading preparation and service alongside the Head Chef
Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
Supporting, training and directing the kitchen team
Assisting with menu development and seasonal changes
Assisting with ordering, stock rotation, waste and food costs
Maintaining high food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards
Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

ABOUT YOU

Solid cooking skills and a passion for good food, with the ability to stay organised and calm during busy service. The successful candidate will be reliable, communicate well and take pride in delivering consistent results.

A strong understanding of cleanliness, stock control and minimising waste is essential, along with a positive attitude and willingness to support and develop the kitchen team.
