Be an significant member of a small team in a growing family-style business. Previous experience as a Shipwright/Marine Spray Painter is required, along with a solid can-do attitude, positive outlook, and a great work ethic!

Your day may include:
Everyday tasks - Fiberglass and gelcoat repairs, maintenance, and modifications.
Structural and non-structural finish to a high standard. Largely on superyachts tenders and high-end trailer boats.
Smaller, shorter projects = No boat building.
Repairs may include small modifications and improvements to larger structural repairs,
customizations of existing GRP structures are also common.
Learning & getting exposed to all aspects of our boat repair & maintenance work.
Out of the hot, hard, sun during the summer to a cool workshop environment!
Primarily this role involves fibreglass/gel coat repairs to rigid inflatable boats however, it will include skilled and unskilled work, or assistance, as and when requested on any other project the workshop undertakes. Duties also include frequent tool use and use of materials and consumables that might be dangerous or considered hazardous to health.
Applicants must be 18+ years of age due to the nature of hazardous materials and tools used in this role. Australian work rights are required for this position.
Personal and general safety precautions must be adhered at all times. PPE is supplied and a current forklift license highly desirable but not essential.
