About the role
An exciting opportunity for 1 skilled full-time Mechanical Engineering Technician currently exists for our Cobram Site. This is a full-time position with the potential to earn $79,423- $90,000 per annum.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducts tests of mechanical systems, collects and analyses data, and assembles and installs mechanical assemblies in support of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists.
Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
Engaging in fabrication, installation and repair of mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
Ensuring that all work is carried out to the Company and requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations
Utilising fault-finding to troubleshoot and rectify problems
About you
Previous experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing setting
Previous experience within the meat industry advantageous
Sound knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, as well as a basic knowledge of electrics and welding skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated continuous improvement approach
Ability to support a broad variety of mechanical work
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to communicate at all levels
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting
Ability to work various shifts
