We are looking for a reliable, friendly and enthusiastic Disability Support Worker for a permanent part time position, working approximately 30–37 hours per week.

The role involves supporting adults with disability both at a centre in North Booval and out in the community.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are mainly centre-based days. Wednesday and Friday are community access days, with staff travelling to different locations throughout Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Duties include:
Picking up and dropping off clients using our service vehicles
Supporting clients during centre-based activities
Playing games and participating in activities with clients
Assisting clients to engage socially with others
Supporting clients during community outings
Providing general assistance and supervision throughout the day
Helping ensure clients are protected, comfortable and included





Applicants must be reliable, patient, friendly and confident working with adults with disability, and able to work well as part of a small team.

Requirements:
Current full open driver’s licence
Current CPR certification
Completion of required NDIS training modules
Current Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or be able to obtain one
Any other relevant checks required for disability support work

Previous experience in disability or aged care would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a permanent part time position of approximately 30–37 hours per week.
