Same Day Tree Works is seeking a reliable and hardworking truck driver/Grounds person to join our busy tree-services team. This position is ideal for someone who is confident behind the wheel and equally willing to get their hands dirty assisting with general ground work.
Key responsibilities
Driving a manual Medium Rigid truck
Safely towing and reversing a 3.5-tonne trailer
Manoeuvring confidently through narrow streets and driveways
Transporting equipment and green waste
Assisting the crew with general tree ground work
Dragging branches, feeding the woodchipper and completing site clean-ups
Following workplace health and safety procedures
About you
A current MR licence or higher
Robust manual-driving skills
Confidence towing and reversing trailers
Your own active ABN
Robust work ethic and positive physical fitness
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
The ability to work well as part of a team
Previous experience in tree services, landscaping, construction or another labour-intensive role would be beneficial but is not essential
