Role Overview:
Top Fruit & Vegetables is seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Hands to join our production team on a casual basis, specialising in fresh fruit juices, fruit salads, garden salads, sandwiches, and soups. This role involves hands-on food preparation, juicing fresh produce, maintaining high hygiene standards, and supporting daily operations in a rapid-paced production environment. Flexibility with working hours is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare fresh juices using a variety of fruits and vegetables, ensuring consistent quality, correct portioning, and freshness
Prepare, wash, and cut fresh fruit and vegetables for fruit salads, garden salads, and soups
Assist in the preparation and assembly of sandwiches
Support the preparation and cooking of soups as required
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen setting at all times
Wash, clean, and sanitise kitchen utensils, juicers, and other equipment




Follow all food safety and workplace hygiene standards
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets

Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment is advantageous
Experience with juicing equipment or fresh juice preparation is highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
Safe and confident use of knives and food preparation equipment
Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced workplace
Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop within the role

Remuneration:
This casual position is paid in accordance with the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award 2020.
