Floral Affairs is looking for a passionate and reliable Florist Apprentice to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who already has at least 1 year of experience in floristry and is keen to continue developing their skills in a busy, creative flower shop.
About the Role
You will work alongside our experienced florists and be involved in all areas of the business, including:
Creating beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements
Preparing flowers and conditioning fresh stock
Creating vase arrangements and boxed arrangements
Wedding and event floristry
Funeral and sympathy arrangements
Wrapping and presenting bouquets to a high standard
Assisting with flower deliveries and orders
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Helping with opening and closing the shop
Providing friendly and qualified customer service
Learning new floral designs and techniques
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of floristry experience
Genuine passion for flowers and floral design
Creative eye and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Positive communication and customer service skills
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace
Willingness to learn and take direction
A positive attitude and professional presentation
