We’re a small, family-run mechanical workshop in Hornsby, and we’re looking for an experienced qualified mechanic to join our close-knit team.

About the Role
This is a full-time, 5-day-a-week position for a mechanic who is confident working independently and enjoys a variety of mechanical work.
Your day-to-day work will include:
General vehicle servicing and maintenance
Mechanical repairs and diagnostics
Brake and suspension repairs
Timing belt and timing chain replacements
Clutch and cooling system repairs
Fault finding and vehicle diagnostics
Pre-purchase inspections and general repairs
Carrying out quality workmanship and ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has proven experience as a mechanic
Has strong knowledge of servicing and mechanical repairs
Is experienced with timing belts and general mechanical repairs
Can diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Has their own tools
Takes pride in their workmanship
Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
Works well as part of a small team
Has a positive attitude and valuable communication skills
