Key responsibilities
Dispense medications with legal and professional requirements, under the direction of a Pharmacist
Assist the Pharmacist prepare medication to facilitate medication management
Maintain dispensary stock
Purchasing stock
Providing advice on OTC medications and retail.
Promotes the best patient health outcomes to improved compliance and understanding of their medications and health conditions

To be successful in the role, you must possess:
Recognised qualifications in the field or qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent (as per award)



will enable appointment as Pharmacy Technician.
Demonstrated understanding and experience of dispensing/issuing of pharmaceuticals in a hospital or community pharmacy setting or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to work in a busy environment and possess good organisational and time management skills.
Experience with information technology and familiarity with the use of pharmacy software.
Demonstrated ability to integrate well with the other staff working as part of the team.
Demonstrated valuable attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
