About the role

Ocean Mate Marine Services is looking for a 3rd or 4th year apprentice marine mechanic to finish their apprenticeship and step up into more responsibility. You'll work across diesel and outboard engines, repowers, marine electrical work, breakdowns and pre-purchase inspections at our Coomera workshop and on mobile callouts.

What you'll be doing:

• Servicing,



diagnosing and repairing marine diesel and outboard engines

• Getting stuck into repowers and bigger diesel jobs, including Nanni installs

• Marine electrical fault-finding and general mechanical work

• Heading out on mobile callouts and breakdowns with the team

What we're looking for:

• Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of a Marine Mechanical apprenticeship

• Positive hands, a genuine love of boats and engines, and pride in your work

• Reliable, positive, and easy to have around

• Current driver's licence (boat licence a bonus — we can help you get it)

Location: Coomera, Gold Coast QLD 4209. Full time.
