Role Overview:
We are seeking a experienced and passionate chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in local style brunch and Asian fusion, excellent kitchen management skills, and a creative approach to menu development.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality dishes using various kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens, ensuring impeccable presentation and consistent flavour.
Monitor food quality and portion sizes, upholding the highest standards of taste and appearance.
Collaborate on menu creation and updates.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Manage inventory, minimize food waste, and assist with ordering supplies
Train and supervise kitchen staff.
Assist in planning and executing special events and catering functions,
delivering memorable culinary experiences for guests.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Certificate 4 or above in cookery
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role.
