We’re looking for a strong Senior or Lead Software Engineer who has worked in a high-quality product engineering environment and can bring those standards with them. You’ll remain hands-on, lead by example and help progressively modernise a PHP/SQL Server monolith towards a modern .Net, React and PostgreSQL ecosystem.

AI-assisted engineering is also an key part of the brief. We’re looking for someone who has moved beyond basic Copilot/ChatGPT usage and can demonstrate thoughtful, structured use of GenAI across real software delivery.

You’ll ideally have broad full-stack engineering experience, robust systems thinking and a track record of owning complex problems through to production. PHP/.Net experience is valuable, but mindset, engineering quality and willingness to work pragmatically with a legacy estate are just as key.

This will suit an engineer who enjoys messy technical problems, hands-on leadership and meaningful modernisation rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
