Childcare Worker

WillowBee Early Learning Centre and Nursery are a family owned and operated luxury long day care centre, located in Chatswood. We are seeking full time Childcare worker/educator to join us!

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Setting up and arranging resources and tools to facilitate children’s learning and play experiences.

• Encouraging positive behavior and supporting children’s social growth and interpersonal skills.

• Planning and delivering enjoyable and educational activities for children.

• Engage with children through stories, games, and creative entertainment.

• Monitoring children during leisure and group activities to ensure safety and engagement.

• Managing and overseeing children’s daily schedules, including eating, napping, and rest periods.

• Promoting cleanliness and assisting children with hygiene practices.





You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply.

Skills and Qualifications:

• AQF Certificate III in Early Childhood Learning including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or higher.

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Valid First Aid Certificate

• An thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

• Robust communication and interpersonal skills

• Outstanding mentoring and leadership skills

• A passion for providing high-quality childcare and education

Experience:

• 1-year minimum full time work experience as a child care worker or a related field, in the past 5 years.

• Chatswood, NSW

Salary Offered

• $80,000 – $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
