Kitchen Hand

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting and portioning ingredients.
Wash and clean dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
Prepare simple desserts.
Keep kitchen areas, benches and equipment clean and organised.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
Store food and ingredients correctly and maintain a clean and tidy kitchen.
Take out rubbish and assist with general kitchen duties as required.

Skills & Requirements:
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
Positive hygiene and food safety practices.
Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen workplace.
Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and organised workspace.

Pay: $26.44 – $44.92 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
