About Us
Avad Recruitment is a Victorian labour hire business placing workers into construction, manufacturing, and warehousing roles. We're growing and looking for someone who can take ownership of a client portfolio and help us keep expanding it.
The Role
You'll manage your own portfolio of clients and workers — handling day-to-day requests, rostering workers to fill client needs, and growing that portfolio over time by converting recent clients. This is a hands-on role that mixes coordination, recruitment, and business development.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Manage your client portfolio — handling incoming requests and rostering workers to fill them
Source, screen, and hire candidates to grow and maintain your team of available workers
Identify and convert current clients to grow your portfolio
Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and workers
Handle the general admin associated with running your portfolio (bookings, records,
compliance checks)
What We're Looking For
Experience in labour hire, recruitment, or account management (highly regarded but not essential if you're a quick learner)
Comfortable juggling reactive coordination work (client requests, rostering) with proactive business development
Confident making calls, following up leads, and building long-term relationships
Strong organisational skills — you'll be responsible for keeping your own portfolio running smoothly
Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or warehousing industries is a bonus

Pay: $33.00 – $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
