The Opportunity

Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our residential aged care team on a part time or casual basis.

As a PCA, you will play a vital role in supporting residents' comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Working as part of a cooperative and supportive team, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred care and support to residents.
Assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily living activities.
Complete accurate care documentation and reporting.
Monitor and report changes in resident wellbeing.
Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and safety requirements.
Work collaboratively with residents, families, and the care team.
Participate in mandatory training and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring




Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
Experience in aged care or health services (preferred).
A compassionate, patient, residentfocused approach.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of personcentred care and dignity of risk.
Availability for afternoon and morning shifts.

Key Requirements
Valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Proof of Covid19 vaccination (three doses) and Annual Flu Vaccine are highly encouraged
