You'll be working across refrigerated trucks and trailers, Thermo King and Carrier transport refrigeration systems, refrigerated shipping containers, bus and coach air conditioning, caravan air conditioning, and electrical, refrigeration and diesel-driven systems. Some days you'll be in the workshop. Other days you'll be out in the field diagnosing equipment and getting customers back on the road. It's technical, challenging and genuinely compelling work.
Key responsibilities
Diagnostics, breakdowns, servicing and major repairs on transport refrigeration systems
Working on refrigerated trucks and trailers
Working on Thermo King and Carrier transport refrigeration systems
Working on refrigerated shipping containers
Working on bus and coach air conditioning
Working on caravan air conditioning
Working on electrical, refrigeration and diesel-driven systems
Fault-finding and diagnosing equipment
About you
Qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician with appropriate licences
Or a qualified Diesel Fitter looking to expand into transport refrigeration - training provided for the right person
Solid understanding of refrigeration and electrical fault-finding
Transport refrigeration experience highly regarded
Takes genuine pride in workmanship
Can think and fault-find rather than simply replace parts
Reliable and takes responsibility for work
Looks after customers and equipment
Wants to keep learning
Enjoys being part of a small, capable team
