Looking for a hands-on job where you can learn real skills and build a career?

Guardian Building Products is looking for a motivated person to join our production team. No previous manufacturing experience is required – if you're reliable, keen to learn and have a good attitude, we'll provide the training.

You'll get the opportunity to learn how to operate a range of modern production machinery while working with building products supplied to projects across Queensland.

What you'll learn
CNC machine operation
Waterjet cutting
Panel saw and sheet processing equipment
Working with fibre cement and compact laminate products
Reading measurements, drawings and cutting lists
Quality checking finished products
Packing and preparing customer orders
Forklift operation
General production and warehouse work

As you gain experience, you'll be trained to set up and operate machinery independently and develop your skills across different areas of our production facility.

You don't need years of experience. We're looking for someone who:




Turns up on time and is reliable
Is keen to learn
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Has good attention to detail
Can accurately read measurements
Is comfortable learning to operate machinery
Works well with others
Takes pride in doing a valuable job

A forklift licence or previous factory, construction or manufacturing experience is a bonus, but definitely not essential.
