We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver (HR or MC minimum) to join our busy team.

With the picturesque Murray River region of Northern Victoria & Southern NSW as your workplace, you will travel country roads for local deliveries in our up-to-date fleet of heavy vehicles (occasional Melb metro & interstate runs) and assist our busy team at the Echuca branch.

Monday to Friday between 6.00am and 5.00pm (Minimum of 38 hours), plus rotational Saturday mornings (approx. 1 per month).

Duties include:

Delivery & Pick Ups of large Plant & Equipment (Excavators, EWP, Compaction Rollers, Telehandlers, etc) plus portable Site Buildings.

Job training will be provided.

You will demonstrate a meticulous approach to your duties, while observing all road, licencing & OH&S; requirements & issues.

Experience with Euro trucks, tilt tray, flat tray, low loader & small crane required.

Oversize & pilot vehicle experience would be advantageous.

Working at Heights competency & heavy machinery experience also highly regarded.

What you'll be doing
Local deliveries, typically within 200kms of Echuca, plus occasional Melb metro




Load/unload plant & equipment, including starting motorised equipment
Demonstrate how to use equipment
Connection & disconnection of trailers to tow vehicles
Collection & transfer of delivery/pick up data (via WhatsApp) to office staff
Proactively ensure the equipment is ready for next hire (washed, maintained, has all necessary documentation & accessories, etc.)
Provide product information and advice to customers
Assist with customer enquiries via phone and in-person
Contribute to a positive team setting and continuous improvement initiatives
