The Chance
We are actively recruiting for a Farmhand to join our Almond team at Riverland Attis farm on a full-time basis, in Yinkanie, South Australia.
What are we looking for
This position works across a diverse tasks across the farm, ranging from irrigation, operating machinery, pruning, spraying and maintaining the farm and associated equipment.
Responsibilities
Irrigation maintenance including inspecting, repairing existing drip irrigation lines, valves, filter maintenance and fertigation.
Assist in ongoing weed management including spot spraying.
General tree care including pruning, staking, tree guard maintenance and re-tie trees to stakes.
Undertake harvest activities.
Providing assistance to contractors.
Maintain farm hygiene and cleanliness; and
Undertake all other duties as required or directed from time to time.
