Monsoon Irrigators has been manufacturing quality Australian-made irrigation equipment since 1992. Based in Toormina on the NSW North Coast, we build hard hose irrigators, centre pivot systems, and recently acquired Trail Co Soft Hoses for farmers and growers right across the country. We're proud to use locally sourced components and to back everything we make with solid warranties and real support.

We're a hands-on team that takes pride in what we build — and we're looking for a skilled welder and fabricator to join us.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time, workshop-based role where you'll be fabricating structural steel components and assemblies that go into our irrigation systems. Day to day, you'll be:

• MIG and TIG welding structural steel frames, brackets, and fabricated components

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job specifications

• Cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembling steel components to tight tolerances

• Carrying out general fabrication tasks across a range of product builds

• Assisting with pre-dispatch checks and quality inspections

• Keeping your work area protected, clean, and organized

• Working as part of a small, close-knit manufacturing team





ABOUT YOU

• Solid MIG welding skills; TIG welding experience

• Hands-on general fabrication experience — cutting, fitting, grinding, assembling structural steel

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Good eye for quality and attention to detail

• Strong safety mindset

• Current driver's licence

• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
