SGS Australia is looking for Casual Coal Technician in Mt Thorley, NSW.
Flexibility is critical as you may be required to complete day, afternoon and/or night shifts on weekdays or weekends. Please note, this role involves significant regular manual handling of samples up to 15+ kg throughout your shift.
Working as part of a quick-paced, team, you will be responsible for:
Accurately conducting physical coal testing and analysis of routine samples, including crushing, weighing, drying, milling and sieving.
Collection of samples from client mine site washeries.
Recording, sorting and storing coal samples as required.
On-the-job training to meet compliance with analytical methods, procedures and SGS Quality Systems & onsite HSE Standards.
Day to day upkeep of equipment.
Delivery of samples to both internal and external customers.
