CKI Group is partnering with a well-established accounting business in Pascoe Vale to find an experienced Tax Accountant who can confidently manage tax and compliance work across a diverse client base.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, can take ownership of their work and is looking to become a valued part of a supportive, skilled team.
The Role Working across a varied portfolio of clients, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns
Preparing financial statements and year-end accounts
BAS, IAS and GST compliance
Managing client files from preparation through to completion
Liaising directly with clients and responding to taxation and accounting queries
Working with the ATO and ensuring compliance requirements are met
Identifying issues and working with clients to achieve practical outcomes
Maintaining accurate records and meeting lodgement deadlines

About You We're looking for someone who brings:
Solid experience in Australian taxation and public practice accounting
Experience preparing tax returns across companies,



trusts, partnerships and individuals
Strong understanding of ATO requirements, GST, BAS and IAS
Experience preparing financial statements
Confidence managing your own workload and multiple client deadlines
Strong client communication skills
Experience with accounting/tax software such as Xero and MYOB
Relevant accounting qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach

CA/CPA qualifications would be highly regarded; however, solid practical tax experience is equally important.
