Most temp desks advertised have to be built from nothing. This one is already running, with existing clients, repeat bookings and more prospect than we can currently service.
We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to take it over and grow it.

Your role:
Taking over the temp desk and running it like your own business unit
Managing multiple live assignments at once, from booking through to completion
Staying on top of every follow up, with clients and candidates, without being chased
Building a bench of ready to go temps and keeping those relationships warm between assignments.
Sourcing and onboarding recent temps weekly
Growing the desk with current business and converting temps into permanent and temp to perm placements
What you will bring
Agency recruitment experience, essential. Temp or contract desk experience highly regarded
A high level of care and empathy, because your candidates are people, not names on a bench
A real sense of urgency, because on a temp desk the placement goes to whoever moves first
Creative thinking when the obvious candidate is not available and the client still needs someone tomorrow
