Aboriginal Remote Community Connector - Carnarvon

The Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS) – Gascoyne Outreach Service (GOS) is seeking a Remote Community Connector to join our team in Carnarvon.

n

This role requires the ability to show initiative while working collaboratively with and on behalf of local and remote community members — providing relevant information and connecting people with disability and their families to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Coordinator.

n

Key Requirements

n

Knowledge of the local Indigenous community is essential.

n

Experience working with local Indigenous communities is desirable.

n

Practical Requirements

n

n
Hold a current National Police Clearance.
n
Hold or be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Clearance.
n
Hold a current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
n
Be willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing as required.
n
