The successful applicant will identify, manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely, efficient manner within project budget.
In addition to working in a multidisciplinary, high performing team, you will work closely with project and corporate teams to ensure accurate commercial reporting for each project you take responsibility for.Key ResponsibilitiesFoster relationships with future clients to develop new tender opportunitiesAnalyse project documentation and develop construction methods,



materials and quality standardsPrepare detailed bills of quantities and accurate estimationsCommunicate on project progress and plansWork on effective/accurate construction programs and implement variations as requiredControl various projects from tender stage through to completionImplement quality, environmental and safety plans across projects, ensuring compliance with project documentation and H&S; regulationsManage site work and assign tasks, establishing and implementing detailed programs for the coordination of site activitiesExecute projects in a cost and time effective mannerTo complement recent construction related experience, the ideal candidate will bring:Experience managing projects in the commercial, industrial, defence, health & education sectorsA sound knowledge of interpreting construction documentationA solid understanding of contractsAn ability to organise and prioritise work whilst maintaining a high attention to detailExcellent communication and leadership skillsAn ability to meet deadlines and remain focused under pressureAn ability to offer constructive solutions and improvements.A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction/Engineering Discipline is required, with experience working on projects for Defence or Tier 1 and 2 contractors an advantage, but not necessary.In return, we will offer you ongoing career development, and a commitment to a long term career within our successful, trusted business.At Joss, we embrace the benefits of employing hardworking people from a range of backgrounds, so we encourage applications that contribute to our diverse workplace.
