OverviewAWS is seeking Associate Support Engineers to support secure cloud infrastructure environments within the AWS Region Services team.
This role is responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, supporting operational systems and helping maintain highly secure and scalable AWS environments supporting sensitive workloads.

troubleshoot technical issues and help maintain secure cloud infrastructure environments.Key responsibilitiesTroubleshooting Linux and cloud infrastructure issuesSupporting operational systems, dashboards and change management activitiesCollaborating with engineering and AWS service teams to resolve issuesSupporting process improvements and operational efficiency initiativesDeveloping technical documentation and operational run-booksAssisting with operational reporting and system monitoringSupporting technical issue resolution across AWS servicesParticipating in on-call rotations and out-of-hours incident response when requiredSkills and experienceMinimum 1 year' experience in technical support or Linux systems administrationExperience scripting in modern programming languagesUnderstanding of networking protocols including HTTP, DNS and TCP/IPStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skillsExperience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems highly regardedKnowledge of cloud computing concepts and networking fundamentals desirableExperience supporting server, storage, networking or distributed systems environments desirableRequirementsAustralian Citizenship requiredMust hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Security ClearanceAbility to successfully complete an Organisational Suitability AssessmentAbility to participate in on-call and out-of-hours operational support as requiredAbility to work within highly secure operational environmentsJob detailsVacancies: 1
