An opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect to take ownership of the architecture and deployment strategy for a large scale, distributed edge infrastructure workplace. You’ll design the next generation of edge compute, IoT, networking and mobile platforms, working across OpenShift, Linux, Azure IoT, automation and DevSecOps technologies.

The opportunity
Own the architecture roadmap for large scale Edge and IoT platforms
Design scalable OpenShift, Linux, compute, storage and networking solutions
Build infrastructure that is automated, secure and consumable entirely through code
Architect CI/CD, GitOps, Ansible and Policy as Code frameworks
Design IoT integrations using technologies including MQTT, CoAP and Azure IoT Hub
Lead technical decisions around hardware lifecycle, edge devices and ruggedised Android platforms
Mentor infrastructure engineers and provide technical direction across complex programs





What we’re looking for You’ll bring 5+ years’ experience across infrastructure architecture, technical design or systems engineering, ideally within complex, distributed or multi site settings.
Strong experience across at least two of the following areas is highly desirable:
Edge Infrastructure: Edge compute, hardware lifecycle and device provisioning
IoT: MQTT, CoAP and enterprise IoT platforms such as Azure IoT Hub
DevOps: CI/CD, GitOps, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions or Ansible
DevSecOps: Vulnerability scanning, Policy as Code and automated security controls
Platforms: Red Hat OpenShift, Linux and cloud native infrastructure
