This is a broad role suited to an experienced accountant who enjoys a blend of financial accounting, management accounting, and commercial analysis.
You will play an important role in maintaining the integrity of the financial function while providing meaningful insights to support business performance and decision-making.
Based in Central CBD, this is an excellent opportunity to join a qualified and collaborative environment where you will have genuine ownership and exposure across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end financial reporting processesPrepare management accounts, financial reports and variance analysisComplete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledgerPrepare journals, accruals, prepayments and other month-end adjustmentsAssist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planningAnalyse business performance, costs and key financial driversProvide financial insights and commentary to senior stakeholdersSupport cash flow reporting and working capital managementAssist with statutory reporting,



compliance and audit requirementsPartner with operational teams to improve financial performance and reportingIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and controlsContribute to ad hoc commercial analysis and projects as requiredAbout YouWe are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded accountant who can confidently operate across both financial and management accounting.You will ideally have:CA/CPA qualification or similar5+ years' accounting experienceStrong month-end, financial reporting and reconciliation experienceSolid management accounting and commercial analysis capabilityExperience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisStrong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systemsExcellent attention to detail and analytical abilityStrong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders outside of financeExperience within mining, resources, engineering, construction or professional services will be highly regardedWhat's On Offer$125,000 - $135,000 + superPermanent full-time opportunityCentral Perth locationBroad and varied Senior Accountant positionExposure across both financial and management accountingOpportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders
