If you can read a job spec, see what it really needs, and price it accurately without breaking a sweat, you'll be in your element here. You'd own your quotes end-to-end, from first enquiry through to the solution that wins the job
And because the role stretches into account management and project management, you're not boxed into a single lane: you'd build real relationships with the clients you quote for and see jobs through to the finish.
You’ll be joining an established print business, with a friendly, close-knit team; you wouldn’t be estimating in isolation.
What you'd actually do
Manage customer enquiries and build genuine relationships with the people you quote for
Work out quotes from job specs, identifying what the client needs and the right solution to match
Track orders and work with production so deliverables land on time
Pitch in on scheduling, job dockets and daily orders when it's busy
Take on some account management and project management of existing clients
What you need
Estimating experience, using Print IQ an advantage
Print industry experience (preferred, and it'll get you up to speed quick)
Sharp attention to detail
Robust written and verbal communication,
and the ability to build client relationships
The organisation to juggle competing deadlines without dropping the detail
Negotiable for the right person, the remuneration guide is from $85,000+
You must have full working rights to work in Australia as visa sponsorship and relocation are not provided for this role.
