Job DescriptionAbout the roleReporting directly to the Group Workplace Relations Manager, the role will be responsible to:Provide practical advice on workforce performance and disciplinary matters.Support/Provide practical advice to leaders on performance matters, behavioral issues, employee grievances.Interpret and advise on the Fair Work Act, employment contracts and industrial instruments.Conduct workplace investigations - evidence plans,



interviews and findings report writingAssist in the continuous improvement of ER/IR policies and proceduresKeep abreast of legislation and regulations in HR/IR.Utilise an online Workplace Relations case work system.Contribute to broader Workplace Relations projects and initiatives.Desired Skills and ExperienceSkills, Experience, AttributesProven years experience in a Workplace Relations/IR Advisor roleTertiary qualifications in HR/IR whilst preferable is not essentialExperience in interpreting the Fair Work Act and industrial instrumentsWorkplace incident investigation experience including witness interviewing and reportingPreparedness to develop advocacy skills in representing the Company in the Fair Work and EEO Commissions.Writing and reviewing ER/IR policies and procedures.Consulting and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage conflicting deadlines.Strong team and customer oriented and willingness to take on recent challenges.About Cater CareCater Care is a leading Australian-owned contract catering provider with 25 years of experience across Aged Care, Education, Retail and Remote Services.Our success is built on Care, Pride and Community.
