OverviewAWS is seeking Controls Engineers to support the deployment, servicing and ongoing operation of critical data centre automation systems across AWS infrastructure environments.
Working within the Controls Deployment & Service (CDS) team, you will help deliver and support Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) that ensure the health, reliability and performance of AWS data centres.
This role requires the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate across multiple teams in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.About the organisationAWS is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, trusted by organisations ranging from startups to Global 500 companies.

servicing and upgrade of data centre automation systems across AWS infrastructure projects.Key responsibilitiesDeployment and support of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)Supporting critical projects and automation upgrades across AWS data centresDiagnosing and resolving operational events impacting data centre systemsSupporting service and maintenance activities within defined SLAsWorking closely with construction, commissioning, operations, engineering and vendor teamsSupporting initiatives to improve operational efficiency and infrastructure reliabilitySkills and experienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fieldExperience with power management and power monitoring systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesExperience working in critical infrastructure, industrial automation or data centre environments highly regardedAbility to read and interpret engineering documentation, drawings and specifications desirableExperience collaborating across technical and operational teamsRequirementsAustralian Citizenship requiredMust hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Security ClearanceAbility to successfully complete an Organisational Suitability AssessmentAbility and willingness to travel domestically or internationally as requiredAbility to work in quick-paced operational and project environmentsJob detailsVacancies: 5
