About the Role




Working across both Andrew Watkins Optometrist and Evans & McMahon Optometrists, you will:
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle, vision needs, and personal styleDevelop strong product knowledge and confidently recommend optical solutionsDeliver exceptional customer service and patient experiencesSupport dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and general optical servicesAssist with practice administration and day-to-day operationsWork collaboratively with Optometrists and team members to ensure seamless patient careTravel between the Andrew Watkins and Evans & McMahon practices as required
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who brings:
A genuine passion for patient care and customer servicePrevious retail or optical dispensing experience (highly regarded)Strong communication and relationship-building skillsConfidence learning and sharing product knowledgeA positive, friendly, and professional attitudePatience, enthusiasm, and a collaborative team mindsetFlexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, public holidays, and late trade when requiredA willingness and ability to travel between Andrew Watkins and Evans & McMahon locationsA current driver's licence and reliable transport is highly desirable but not required
